There are many ways the Writing Center can help you boost your writing skills. Whether you schedule a one-on-one appointment, attend an event or take advantage of a workshop, there are many opportunities for you to level up your writing!
Schedule an appointment
The Writing Center offers in-person and virtual writing appointments held via Zoom.
- In-person appointments: Meet one-on-one with a tutor in the Writing Center in 141 Franco Building to discuss your paper and develop your ideas. This session is a face-to-face conversation where you work together on your writing.
- Online tutoring via Zoom: Connect with a tutor via Zoom to work on your paper. To join the Zoom meeting, use the link in the confirmation email after registering for an appointment. This session is a conversation over Zoom, where you and the tutor will collaborate on your writing.

The Writing Center offers workshops that are course-specific as well as those open to the entire campus community.
Campus-wide workshops
These are part of the Study Skills Workshop Series and include sessions such as Introduction to MLA Citation.
Classroom-specific workshops
